This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer at Eddie's Railfan Page.
On Saturday, May 14th 2011 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, I will be hosting a photo slideshow event at the Franklin Park Public Library. The library is located at 10311 West Grand Avenue in northwest suburban Franklin Park Illinois.
The main theme of My presentation, will be a tribute to Chicago's historic Kiddieland Amusement Park that existed in nearby Melrose Park Illinois from 1928 until the park closed for good in September of 2009.
If You have an old home movie of Kiddieland dubbed to DVD, some old photographs of the place, or perhaps a story or two to share, then You are invited to come and enjoy the fun at the library in the Community Room.
If You were a former Kiddieland employee, or just someone who enjoyed visiting Kiddieland with Your family or friends, then You will enjoy this fun and historic presentation at the Franklin Park Public Library.
