I took this photo during a recent March 2011 visit, to the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers H.O Scale Model Railroad Club.
Although cabooses coupled to the rear of freight trains have long since disappeared as well as the former Rock Island Railroad, the magic of this forgotten pre 1980's era chapter of modern railroading, is kept alive in miniature at this model railroad club.
