Amtrak 40th anniversary locomotive # 156. Glenview Illinois USA. Tuesday, May 8th, 2012.

I took this photograph yesterday evening after work.

Amtrak General Electric P 42 Genesis Series locomotive # 156 wearing a special Amtrak 40th Anniversary color scheme from 2011, is viewed waiting for passengers to board and disembark at the Glenview Illinois Metra commuter rail station.

This locomotive is assigned to the southbound Amtrak Hiawatha enroute to Chicago Union Station.
