I took this photograph, during a September 2010 visit to the Chicago Botanic Garden in north suburban Glencoe Illinois.
The Chicago Botanic Garden is indeed, a very lovely and relaxing place to visit in Chicago's upscale North Shore suburbs.
Aside from the many lovely and colorful flower gardens, the Chicago Botanic Garden also has a seasonal outdoor G Scale model railroad exhibit for all the railfans and model train enthusiasts, that features several G Scale outdoor model train layouts that pass through several unique and very scenic garden settingss.
This is definately a nice place to visit in the greater Chicagoland area with family.
