I photographed this digital live sound video, on a brightly sunlit and very bitterly cold Winter day in January of 2009. We are looking west on Grand Avenue in near northwest suburban Elmwood Park Illinois. A westbound Metra local commuter train enroute to Elgin Illinois, is viewed crossing Grand Avenue after departing the nearby Metra, Elmwood Park commuter rail station. The train is passing through the diagonal railroad crossing on Grand Avenue, enroute to the next station stop not far from here at River Grove Illinois. The locomotive, is an MPI model MP-36PH passenger locomotive built in Boise Idaho.
