I took this photo after work one mild Autum afternoon, in early October of 2007. A former Grand Trunk Western Railroad EMD roadswitcher acquired by the Canadian National through merger, is viewed working the siding tracks at the former Illinois Central Railroad Crawford Yard. This yard is located on Chicago's near southwest side, just east of the border near the west suburban village of Cicero Illinois at the Chicago city limits. This locomotive was viewed looking south at what would approximately be West 35th Street near South Kostner Avenue.
