I photographed this northbound C & N W transfer freight train passing the now long gone Argo tower in Summit Illinois, way back in December of 1990. This transfer train is more than likely headed to Proviso Yard in Bellwood Illinois, as it is headed northbound over the Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad tracks. Argo Tower was closed in 1993, and slowly demolished in stages until 1995.
