I took this photo after work one day, on an overcast early Springtime afternoon in early April of 2007. A southbound Norfolk Southern Railroad heavy transfer freight train enroute to Clearing Yard, meets a northbound Canadian Pacific transfer train enroute to Bensenville Yard at Hawthorne Junction on the Chicago city limits border. Hawthorne Junction, is the dividing line border that seperates the city of Chicago on the east side of the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks, and the village of west suburban Cicero Illinois on the immediate west side of the BRC tracks.
