I took this photograph way back in October of 1989.

We are riding aboard a southbound Chicago Transit Authority Route # 52 Kedzie / California Avenue bus on a very overcast November afternoon.

Our bus in this photograph, is an old 1970's era CTA GMC TDH Series "New Look / Fishbowl Windshield" 40 foot transit bus, wich were working their final years of service in Chicago, and would all be retired by 1996.

The bus in this photograph, is traveling southbound on South Kedzie Avenue at approximately West 40th Street, in Chicago's Brighton Park neighborhood.
