Hi everyone!
Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page, from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.
I took this photograph one evening after work last month, in northwest suburban Des Plaines Illinois.
It is just past sunset, and another lovely Springtime day in the greater Chicagoland area is coming to a close.
We are facing east on Dempster Street, just west of Wolf Road. The fading late day sun and the approaching of nightfall, has added an interesting photographic effect on the Dempster Street railroad crossing.
This crossing is located along the Union Pacific Railroad's former Chicago & NorthWestern "Freight Only" line, wich some local Chicago railfans refer to as the Union Pacific "Techny line".
This line sees many long transfer freight trains passing through, unfortunately...it's mostly when I am either not there, or don't have My camera with Me.
L.O.L...I'll get it right sooner or later.
