Weatbound Canadian Pacific transfer train passing through Hayford junction. Chicago Illinois. July 2007.

I took this photograph one hot Summer morning, back in July of 2007.

A westbound Canadian Pacific Railroad transfer freight train enroute to the Belt Railway of Chicago's Clearing Yard facility in nearby Bedford Park Illinois, crosses the Canadian National ex Grand Trunk Western crosstrack at Hayford Junction.

Above the train, We spot a Southwest Airlines jet plane on approach to nearby Midway Airport.

I used to spend much time railfanning here during the 1980's, and believe Me....it has changed quiete a bit at this location since then.
