I took this photo after work one sunny but still somewhat chilly early Springtime afternoon back in March of 2007.
The straw brown colors of seasonal Wintertime plant life, are just mere days away from changing to the greens of Springtime at the Chicago city limits.
Seen here is a southbound CSX Transportation Company light engine movement traveling over the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks through Hawthorne Junction at the border of west suburban Cicero Illinois. It is believed that this locomotive had just finished working the switching local on the CSX owned industrial branchline in Cicero along West 16th Street.
