I found this classic General Motors transit bus photo from the former Milwaukee And Suburban Transport Company, at My Link page Northern California Bus Fans, located to the right of Your computer screen at www.norcalbusfans.com
Several city public transit agencys in North America, operated the popular 1940's and 50's era General Motors TDH Series "Old Look" transit buses. These buses were the industry standard for many years in many citties throughout North America.
Many transit agencys had operated them in to the early 1970's. The city of Milwaukee Wisconsin USA, was one of the last in the United States to operate these in regular service. Milwaukee operated their remaining examples in daily transit service until 1981. A few have been preserved by private individuals.
This photo, was taken in downtown Milwaukee Wisconsin,on a bus fans chartered fantrip in September of 1971.
