Hi everyone!
This is Eddie K, Your host and photographer here at Eddie's Railfan Page!

Be sure to visit the Eisenhower Public Library next week Saturday, May 12th from 1:00 until 3:00 PM.
I will be hosting a multi media photo slideshow, video and lecture event entitled "Kiddieland Memories" in the library's upstairs meeting room.

If You are one of the many people who had grown up visiting Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois, or any of the once other many local Chicago area amusement parks from the past, then You won't wan't to miss this fun ,nostalgic and very family oriented presentation about Kiddieland, and other Chicago historic amusement parks of the past.

If You could remember fun summertime places like Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois, Riverview Park in Chicago, Adventure Land in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in Justice Illinois, or even Dispensa's Kiddie Kingdom in Oak Brook Terrace Illinois, then please come down and share Your happy memories from this forgotten era of Chicago family entertainment.

The Eisenhower Public Library is located at 4613 North Oketo Avenue in Harwood Heights Illinois.

This will be a fun event, and We hope to see You there!

Thanks.
Eddie K.

I'm looking for photos of a kiddie train that ran indoors at a South Chicago Sears or Wieboldt's (or some such department store)in the 1950s. It was elevated and ran above the toy department at Christmastime. I loved it but cannot find evidence of it ANYWHERE. Wonder if you know of it!
Love your site! Thanks.
