The popular red and gray color scheme from the former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad, was a childhood favorite of mine when I was growing up on the near southwest side of Chicago during the 1960's and early 1970's era.

I fopund this photograph at My link page Fallen Flags.Org, located to the right of Your computer screen at www,rr-fallenflags.org

Railfan photographer George Bash, photographed what looks like freshly painted Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad EMD GP 7 # 233 at Clinton Iowa, way back in June of 1961.

The locomotive to the right, is wearing the C,B & Q's "Blackbird" color scheme from the 1950's.

Thanks.
Eddie K.
