Czechloslovakian 0-4-0T and open cars rounding the curve on the last operating day of the season. The Hesston Steam Museum. Hesston Indiana USA. 1991.
I took this photo on a cold and wet late October visit to The Hesston Steam Museum way back in 1991.
October is almost over, and the landscape has began to resemble more of a November setting. With outside temperatures in the low to mid 40's with occasional drizzle, it was anything but appropriate weather to be riding aboard an open Summertime excursion car.
Still, cold weather and all....I am glad I went that day and had a nice time nonetheless. This was the last operating day of the 1991 season in Hesston Indiana.
