During the decade of the 1980's, I spent much time railfanning
the former Burlington Northern in west suburban La Grange Illinois.

I took this photo on a partly sunny Winter afternoon, back in February of 1986. A westbound Burlington Northern empty unit coal train, is viewed passing through the La Grange Road Amtrak / Metra commuter rail station.
