The Arby's Roast Beef on North Harlem Avenue. Chicago Illinois USA. September 2008.
I took this night time photograph on North Harlem Avenue near the intersection at west Irving Park Road on Chicago's northwest side. Seen here is this vintage 1960's and 70's era Arby's fast food restaurant with a large neon sign, and an old and very unique overhead elevator tray in the drive through lane. Newer Arby's restaurants, have began to utilize plastic flourescent lit signs and standard drive through windows. This is the way that Arby's restaurants looked like decades ago. It is nice to know that there are still a few vintage Arby's like this to keep the historical ambience alive.
