Chicago's Another very busy recreational season at Chicago's North Avenue Beach on Lake Michigan, has come to an end. Although there is no swimming or recreational boating in Lake Michigan in this late part of the year, North Avenue Beach and the other Chicago lake front beaches, still see their share of people riding bicycles, roller blading, walking, jogging, or just enjoying some fresh air weather permiting.
This is the North Avenue Beache's Beach House and Concession Stand. This building is designed to look like a small ship, and features changing rooms, food concessions, bicycle and roller blade rentals, as well as a restaurant on the open top deck during the summer season.
