I took this behind the scenes photo of the engineers / operators compartment of Central Illinois Railroad EMD SW-9 # 1206's locomotive cab. The engine was temporarily parked on South Paulina Avenue near Blue Island Avenue, in an industrial park setting. Central Ilinois Railroad crew member Bob, was very kind and let Me get this photo in the locomotive cab during the layover period, after I had asked him very nicely. The Central Illinois Railroad, is a privately owned industrial shortline railroad. It provides industrial railroad switching service, on a former Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Railroad branchline in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood.
