I took this photo one evening around sunset, at Hawthorne Junction, located at the Chicago city limits. A freight train is seen heading southbound over the Belt Railway of Chicago tracks, as it passes over the Canadian National ex Illinois Central crosstracks. Another lovely Autum day with plenty of sunshine, will be ending soon.
