I took this photo one pleasant afternoon in September of 2008. Seen here is a southbound CSX Transportation EMD model SD 40-2 roadswitcher, passing a stopped
freight train at Hawthorne Junction, located on the border at west suburban
Cicero Illinois. The locomotive has just crossed over the Canadian National ex
Illinois Central crosstracks, and is heading southbound over the Belt Railway
of Chicago tracks to Clearing Yard. Clearing Yard is located near Chicago's
Midway Airport, in southwest suburban Bedford Park Illinois.
