I took this photo on an overcast Sunday morning, in September of 2008. A northbound Metra commuter local, is seen alongside Lehigh Avenue in north suburban Glenview Illinois. The train has just departed from the Glenview commuter rail station, and will soon stop at the approaching Glen of North Glenview Metra commuter rail station near Chestnut Avenue. The train is enroute to Fox Lake Illinois over the Metra / Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline.
