I took this photo after work one evening, in early November of 2007. With shorter daylight hours on hand, railfanning was becoming a difficult task at hand, depending on how late I had to work. A former Grand Trunk Western Railroad EMD roadswitcher, is seen spotting cars at the Canadian National ex Illinois Central Crawford Yard on Chicago's near southwest side. Located at the Chicago city limits just east of west suburban Cicero Illinois, this yard serviced trains on the Illinois Central Railroad's Iowa Division Mainline in years past.
