I took this photo recently, on a lovely Autum evening in late October of 2008. Seen here around sunset, is a speeding westbound Metra express commuter train, racing past the North Oak Park Avenue railroad crossing. The train is enroute to Elgin Illinois over the Metra / Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline.

Nice shot. Gives credence to the old adage "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough."
