I took this photo on a very overcast early afternoon, in October of 2008. Seen here just west of the Chicago city limits on the north side of West 16th Street in Cicero Illinois, are two EMD 2nd Generation rebuilt roadswitchers from the CSX Transportation Company railroad. The locomotives were just sitting here at the time of My visit, with their prime movers shut off and sitting silent. In about an hour or less, the crew would arrive and begin their switching chores on this industrial branchline.
