I took this photo after work one Autum afternoon, in October of 2006. we are looking east from the north or "westbound" platform, of the Metra / Hanson Park commuter flagstop depot. This depot is located on the Canadian Pacific ex Milwaukee Road mainline, just west of the North Central Avenue overpass bridge seen in the background. Freight trains pass the depot, on isolated by pass trackage to the immediate south adjacent to the depot, behind fencing. many express commuter trains come flying through this deopot at speed, but a handful of all stops locals frequent this tiny depot on Chicago's northside daily.
