In todays local Chicago news...a very heavy and severe blizzard snowstorm has hit the greater Chicagoland area. The storm is expected to last from 3:00 PM Tuesday, Until 3:00 PM Wednsday.
Snow accumulations are expected to be from 12 to 20 inches by Wednsday evening.
This is a scene from Tuesday's afternoon rush hour on Oakton Street, in northwest suburban Des Plaines Illinois.
