I took this brightly sunlit winter railroad photograph one morning, back in January of 2007.
We are facing west along the north side of the BNSF Railway's Clyde Yard in west suburban Cicero Illinois, along the southside of adjacent West 26th Street.
With sunglasses and warm winter clothing, I braved sharp west winds and low double digit temperatures to capture this working image of Chicago Winter Railroading on location.
Today, this view is no longer available, as the BNSF Railway had erected a tall fence here approximately two years ago.
