I took this photo one dry but cold Winter morning, in early January of 2008.
We are facing north at the Harlem Avenue Metra commuter rail station, along the very busy BNSF Railway three track Chicago to Aurora mainline. With New Years day just passed, the festive Chrismas Holiday decorations are still addorning the station.
This was a very busy time here at Harlem Avenue at the time of My visit. The railroad crossing signals were constantly ringing on adjacent Harlem Avenue, at the border of west suburban Riverside Illinois.
