I took this photo during My lunchbreak one morning back in December of 2009.
Yes folks, the greater Chicagoland area has been seeing more than it's share lately of lake effect snowstorms. It has been very snowy here in the Windy City lately.
I was standing near the Chicago Transit Authority's yellow line railroad crossing on Niles center Road in north suburban Skokie Illinois, when I spotted this often un noticed image of wintertime photographt subjects. The freshly falling snow, helped create a somewhat artistic image on this particular sewer lid during the smowstorm.
Winter is here again in the greater Chicagoland area.
