Belt Railway of Chicago Alco diesels running light through Hayford Junction. Chicago Illinois USA. January 1987.
I took this photo one Winter afternoon in January of 1987 at Hayford Junction in Chicago's Ashburn neighborhood on the southwest side of the city.
Two westbound Belt Railway of Chicago Alco (American Locomotive Company) 1960's vintage Alco C 425 Century series diesel electric roadswitchers, are viewed passing through Hayford Junction after a heavy all morning Winter snowstorm had stopped falling.
