I took this photo one morning this past week during My lunch break.

This lovely seasonal Wintertime image, was taken looking north from the Isabella Street bridge over the north branch of the Chicago River in north suburban Wilmette Illinois.

This view is reminiscent of the scenes one would find on those old Currier and Ives Christmas Holiday greeting cards. The normaly vary creek like north branch of the Chicago River, is viewed covered with ice and snow.
