One of the lessor known artifacts of Chicago area railroad preservation, is this old steel cupola caboose from the defunct Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad. On display in a city park along the east side of 80th Avenue in south suburban Tinley Park Illinois, this caboose makes for a fine display.
The former Rock Island mainline passes through Tinley Park Illinois as well.
