I found this historic photo of Chicago's long gone Riverview Park on the internet recently.
A popular ride on the amusement park's midway that incorporated speed, style and a touch of class, was Riverview's famous roller coaster ride known as "The Bob's".
The Bob's was rumored to be one of the world's fastest roller coasters back in the day. Those Roman or Greek Revival style architectural collums near the ride entrance, definately gave The Bob's a touch of class.
Welcome to my rail fan page! Here you'll find information and pictures of railroad related items from the Chicagoland area, Wisconsin and Indiana. Enjoy your stay. All Aboard!
