An era of long train delays is coming to an end on West 71st Street in southwest suburban Bridgeview Illinois.
Yes, the sun is finally setting on many years of backed up traffic conjestion due to many long and slow moving transfer trains traveling over the Indiana Harbor Belt rail line, at the West 71st Street railroad crossing, as a new underpass viaduct is now under construction at this location just west of South Harlem Avenue.
