The west suburban Hillside Illinois public library, located at 405 Hillside Avenue...welcomes local Chicago historian, railfan and photographer Eddie K from the internet site Eddie's Railfan Page to the library on Saturday, February 25th, 2012 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

Eddie will be hosting a "Railfan Photo Slideshow" in the library's downstairs meeting room. Admission is free.

One of the items being presented, will be a homemade musical photo slideshow Eddie K has put together entitled "When Chicago Rode The Streetcars"!

If You were one of the many people who grew up in the city of Chicago Illinois prior to the end of CTA electric streetcar operations in 1958 or know someone who did...then You won't want to miss viewing these historic vintage photos of Chicago, set to authentic historic period music ranging from Ragtime Piano, Dixieland Jazz, and 1940's era Big Band Standards.
