The Brookfield Public Library located at 3609 Grand Boulevard in west suburban Brookfield Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian Edward Kwiatkowski on Saturday, January 28th, 2012 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM in the downstairs meeting room.
Mr Kwiatkowski who also is known on the internet as Eddie K, is the host and photographer of the internet site Eddie's Railfan Page http://eddiesrailroad.blogspot.com
Eddie will be presenting an historical musical photo slidesow presentation entitled
"Remembering Chicago's Historic Amusement Parks of the past"!
If You could remember the once many Chicago area amusement parks like Riverview Park in Chicago, Playland Park in unincorporated Justice Illinois, Adventureland in Addison Illinois, or the recently closed Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois...then You won't wamt to miss this nostalgic presentation.
