Coming soon to the Brookfield Public Library! "Remembering Chicago'sHistoric Amusement Parks Of The Past!" Saturday, January 28th, 2012from 1:00 until 3:00 PM!



The Brookfield Public Library located at 3609 Grand Boulevard in west suburban Brookfield Illinois, welcomes local Chicago historian Edward Kwiatkowski to the
library on Saturday, January 28th, 2012.

Edward Kwiatkowski, who is also known as Eddie K, the host and photographer of
the internet site "Eddie's Railfan Page http://eddiesrailroad.blogspot.com,
will be hosting a photo slideshow about Chicago's historic amusement parks of
the past in the library's downstairs meeting room from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.

If You could remember places like the historic and long gone Riverview Park
in Chicago, Adventureland in Addison Illinois, Playland Park in unincorporated
Justice Illinois, or Kiddieland Amusement Park in Melrose Park Illinois...then
You most certainly would not want to miss this historic and nostalgic presentation
about Chicago's long gone amusement parks of the past.
