Welcome aboard Eddie's Railfan Page, from the city of Chicago Illinois USA.
I took this photo recently, back in October of 2011.
We are facing north on Austin Avenue, at the intersection of West Roosevelt Road at the Chicago city limits border. On the west side of Austin Avenue just to the left and directly to the north of the storefront building on the corner, is the village of west suburban Oak Park Illinois. The corner storefront building, is in the city of Chicago Illinois, while directly behind Me along the southside of West Roosevelt Road, is the village of west suburban Berwyn Illinois.
Yes, thats right folks. Three towns border here at this intersection, at the Chicago city limits. An urban junction point for area residents.
