I photographed this digital live sound video this past January, on location at the Mount Prospect Illinois Metra commuter rail station.

Freight trains are sometimes a rare sight on the normally commuter train only Metra / Union Pacific Railroad northwest line to Harvard Illinois, but sometimes when You least expect them to...they sometimes actually do show up.

This short eastbound Union Pacific local freight with two EMD GP 15 light roadswitchers, a single box car, and a former Chicago & NorthWestern Railroad bay window caboose, is viewed passing through the station on a cold and overcast Winter morning in January of 2011.
