Early 1970's era Illinois Central Gulf Railroad caboose hop. December 2011.

Happy memories from My youth growing up in Chicago, frequently operate at the Oak Park Society of Model Engineers, H.O Scale Model Railroad Club, located in west suburban Oak Park Illinois.

I felt like it was 1973 all over again on the southwest side of Chicago, as I imagined this early post 1972 merger era Illinois Central Gulf caboose hop, approaching Brighton Junction at South Archer and Western Avenues in Chicago Illinois.
