It is a couple of days now after the infamous Chicago blizzard of February 1st, 2011, dumped a record 20.9 inches of heavy lake effect snow on the entire Chicago area.

A northbound Chicago Transit Authority purple line rapid transit train enroute to nearby Wilmette Illinois, is viewed making a morning sttion stop at South Boulevard station alongside Chicago Avenue, in north suburban Evanston Illinois.
