I took this photo after work one afternoon, back in early April of 2007.
A former Illinois Central EMD roadswitcher locomotive acquired through merger by the Canadian National Railroad in 1999, is viewed switching tank cars at the former Illinois Central's Crawford Yard on the near southwest side of Chicago, near the border at west suburban Cicero Illinois.
In 2011, the successor railroad Canadian National, has now closed this yard and removed the tracks.
