I took this photo during an early November 2011 visit, to Chicago's Brookfield Zoo.
It is nearing the end of the Autum season in Chicago, and the zoo's Theodore Roosevelt Fountain has now officially been drained in preparation for the upcoming winter season.
I never realized that this fountain was actually this shallow in depth. It looks much deeper during the regular operating season.
