Current BNSF and past A,T & S,F covered hoppers. Chicago Illinois USA. Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

I was definately in the right place at the right time, when I took this photo of an eastbound BNSF Railway transfer train, entering the Belt Railway of Chicago Clearing Yard from the West 68th Street wye junction connection.

Short covered hopper cars from the current BNSF Railway and the pre 1995 predescessor
railroad Atchinson, Topeka & Santa Fe...are viewed coupled together on this freight train.

What are the chances of that ever happening?
