The Grand Trunk Western Railroad Elsdon Yard on West 51st Street in Chicago, was in it's last week of operation prior to closing for good.
This cropped photo, shows the upstairs quarters and dispatchers bay window, of the soon to be demolished Elsdon depot, wich was demolished in November of 1983.
